vintage jam (in my head all day long edition)

I woke up with this in my head yesterday and it stayed there all day. Nine Three shit.

  1. I find this moving, as moving as the Naive Melody if not more so.

you’ve been surprisingly quiet about the Beatles boxed set?

Agreed. There’s something very melancholy about this one. It’s among my favorite New Order singles (and seeing as how I see New Order as mostly a singles band I guess that makes it one of my favorite New Order songs—and definitely my favorite New Order song that I often forget exists).

I don’t really have too much to say about that Beatles box. I got the mono one and I’m pretty happy with what I’ve listened to so far. If I am at all underwhelmed by it it’s only because I have been listening to fan generated mono remasters for a year or so now and that may have softened some of the “holy shit!” impact of the box.

I suspect that the CDs contained in the box will be the last ever that I buy.
