From this angle, they look a bit similar to what Gunnar Björnstrand and Harriet Andersson, of Bergman fame, looked like during the same period of time. Beautiful picture.
To me, here Cooper looks like an old roué about to chomp on a fresh flower ..
Seeing these two in color really stresses the age difference.
