Just wow. The Rolling Stones promoting their Black and Blue LP. 1976.

Thanks to my friend Jeff for the loan of 50 or so 1970s issues of National Lampoon. This should prove to be as major a windfall for this site as when I got all of those back issues of Playboy at that flea market a few years ago. Please enjoy.

    IIRC, the billboard of this over the Sunset Blvd Tower Records had the caption “I’m Black and Blue from the Rolling Stones and I love it”. Removed after women’s groups protested.

    I remember them having to pull this from the record store where my wife worked at the time.
