    You would think they might have had the word Ran or Kurosawa somewhere on the cover ..

      You would think. I get why they didn’t caption the photos in the days when there were no words outside of “SIght and Sound”, a month and price tag but once they started junking up the covers w all those words, it might have made sense to let people know what they were looking at as they seemingly regularly featured pretty obscure-o figures on there

    Yes, I’m singularly horrified at the idea of “Devouring Oz TV”. They don’t mean Australian TV?
    In 1985 ? . . .
