is orson welles good in this? because my initial reaction to this is, how comical. but that’s the reaction a portly man elicits.
He’s as good in it as he is in anything else, I guess. But of course he looks ridiculous.
Baxter’s legs look twig-like when eclipsed by Welles’ moon-sized full profile.
Also, horrific font. Letters shouldn’t have jester bells attached to them.
I have not seen Welles as Falstaff . His Macbeth was great–heads on pikes, etc. Shot at a castle somewhere in Britain. Polanski’s Macbeth rocked as well.
