   Great poster – execrable film . The Great Sam Fuller notwithstanding. When Burl Ives is your runaway best-on-screen you know you may be in a spot of trouble.
   Last time I saw it in a cinema, people were laughing – at just how lame it was.
   As indeed I did, when Criterion issued it on DVD . . .
   But – great poster !

   The only criterion DVD I ever found in the bargain bin at Borders. It was barely worth the $5 I paid for it. Good for a laugh though.
