Last night I was watching MartinScorsese’s documentary Living in the Material World, and Jim Keltner spoke about this joke of George to the fan club of Wings. The funny thing is that according to Keltner, several people took this seriously and therefore received letters and photographs of fans!
I saw that too. That’s what led me to post this. I never realized that George’s LP came out only a month after the Wings LP.
