Seeing as how Hugh Hefner‘s Playboy Productions helped bankroll the production, the Macbeth premiere’s afterparty—attended by the film’s director and star—was held at the London Playboy Club.

      He has done some great stuff and some overrated and just plain awful stuff. The less said about his awful personal life the better.

    I don’t care for his films, but do have some time for his Macbeth which doesn’t get talked about much.
    I remember it having a certain visceral savagery that seemed apposite.
