For the McCartney completist, here’s a interview LP issued to American radio stations to promote WingsBand on the Run album. Below is the first page of the script that was included so radio DJs knew which tame questions to ask Paul and Linda. The disc also includes a handful of tracks from the album all in exceptionally poor sound. I think the mix of Helen Wheels might be slightly different from the normal one though so there’s that, I guess. 1973.

Menlove Ave

Menlove Avenue. An early attempt at a posthumous John Lennon LP that collected outtakes from his relatively short solo career and not particularly choice outtakes focusing mostly on his Rock n Roll and Walls and Bridges LPs. None of the tracks from the album’s first side appear on the John Lennon Anthology so I guess this release will still be sought after by some Lennon completists. Sort of an odd release though. 1986.
